Program description:  The school provides a high quality Catholic education for a diverse population of K-12 students; also offers a variety of CYO sports, including soccer, basketball and track, for both school and parish youngsters.

Admission:  An open house for new students is held in January.  New students are required to take a placement test, complete an application for admission, pay a registration fee and forward any academic transcripts to the school.  Any child in the St. Michael community can participate in CYO sports; certain participation fees apply.  Contact the school principal for more information. 

Volunteers:  Volunteers are welcome and there are many opportunities for service.  Volunteer activities include coaching a sports team, landscaping, carpentry, painting, IT assistance, or working on the Annual Gala committee (securing silent auction items, working on decorations, preparing the program book, etc.).  Call the school office at (301) 585-6873 for more information about immediate volunteer needs.

Volunteers who work directly with students must complete VIRTUS training through the Archdiocese of Washington.  Volunteers must also be fingerprinted and undergo a criminal background check.  Please contact the school or the Archdiocese for more information.
